Brain drug delivery for dummies

In 2010, to-BBB was featured in Quest, a popular Dutch magazine similar to National Geographic. This article tells the story of to-BBB's efforts to develop treatments for patients with devastating brain diseases. In 2011, Pieter Gaillard explained the clinical development of 2B3-101 on Dutch radio, elaborating on the different aspects in clear and understandable terms!

"The Pacman Analogy"

Very large magnification picture using electronmicroscopy of our second product 2B3-201, with the visible "fat bubbles" representing the liposomes with the active compound as dark "spots" on the inside. Scale bar shows the magnification of 500 nanometer; the liposomes have a diameter of 100 nm on average (in comparison: a human hair is 100,000 nm, a thousand times thicker!)
