Patrick Krol is a healthcare marketing specialist and entrepreneur. Patrick received an MBA in Executive Management and Consultancy. As founder and managing director of Firm United Healthcare from 1997 until 2004 he was responsible for growing the company to become a market leader. During this period he also co-founded Interactive Healthcare and Healthcare Management School. After selling his share in all three companies in 2004, he became director healthcare of Fleishman-Hillard in London, a member of Omnicom. From 1995 until 2005 Patrick guided over 30 pharma and biotech companies to successfully introduce or grow their products. Since 2004 he holds a board seat at Shire Pharmaceuticals International Licensing. Patrick is investment partner with Aescap Venture.

Mats Petterson is a senior pharma and biotech founder and entrepreneur. He holds a B.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration. After a career as a CPA from 1968-1976 Mats joined the Pharmacia group where he mainly worked in CFO and Business Development positions. He was responsible for most of the transforming mergers in Pharmacia and has spent more than 16 years abroad in his career. In 2001 Mats founded Biovitrum AB, a spin out company from Pharmacia and one of the largest Biotech companies in Europe, and was its CEO until 2007. He is currently also a board member of Lundbeck A/S, Ablynx NV and founder/vice chairman of Sweden Bio. In the past, he has held Board memberships with Biacore International AB (Sweden) and Active Biotech AB (Sweden).

Jaap Blaak is a serial entrepreneur who is well experienced in the life sciences. He studied Physics and Economics at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and attended the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. He started his carreer at Hoogovens and moved from there to head Indivers subsidiaries Eldim and Elbar, Interturbine Group (which expanded to Germany, Singapore and the USA), and Maatschappij voor Industriele Projecten (MIP Equity Fund, later Alpinvest). With the start of TAilWind BV in 1995, Jaap became investor and co-founder in several (biotech) companies and funds in the Netherlands, including Pepscan, VenGen and Flexgen. He is also chairman of the board at Pharming NV, and acts as a member of several advisory committees to the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs.

Fred Oudshoorn is a pharmacist and private equity investor with several investments in healthcare and pharma through Jonghoud BV. He started as pharmacist in the Hague and expanded as an entrepreneur in the pharma sector. Subsequently, he founded the pharmacy chain (De Vier Vijzels) Alliance Apotheek, as well as the pharma wholesale organization Euromedica BV. Over the years Fred had several advisory and board positions in the healthcare sector. Through the establishment of his investment company Jonghoud, he is participating in several Small Medium Enterprises including pharmacies, private clinics and laboratories.

Henk Brulleman is a business economist and private investor, building a portfolio of direct venture capital holdings. He joined Shell after his study Business Economics at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. After 12 years, most recently as deputy CIO at the Shell Pension Fund, he decided to become partner at Numeric Investors LLC, initially acting as their Director Europe and subsequently as Director International Strategies. He recently retired from Numeric Investors after 10 years with the firm, and is now looking to help innovative young companies. He joined to-BBB's Board of Directors as the representative of a group of informal investors, contributing his long investment experience to help realizing the potential of the company. Henk is a CFA charterholder and has been co-founder of both the CFA Society of the UK and the CFA Society of the Netherlands.
